Kurt Vile, DD Dumbo Leads First Acts On 2017 A Festival Called Panama

Daammnn

Tassie boutique music and arts festival A Festival Called Panama are getting things organised for their fourth event next year, giving punters a taste with a pretty amazing first artist announcement today.

Promoters have bagged seminal American muso Kurt Vile to headline, joined by Californian songwriter Margaret Glaspy and local heroes DD Dumbo and Koi Child.

The intimate festival — boasting only 1,400 people — will also have Gabriella Cohen, Jack Grace, Tinpan Orange, The Stitch, A. Swayze & The Ghosts and The Memory Palace on offer, with more names to come.

Taking place from 10 to 12 March next year, A Festival Called Panama have had Courtney Barnett, Hiatus Kaiyote, Big Scary and more on their stages in the past.
