More Kreator More Kreator

If you thought that the Australian tour announcements would be coming to an end or that the Machine Head and Fear Factory run would be the sole heavy music starter for 2023, this latest tour announcement proves you wrong on both counts.

In February 2024, Kreator and In Flames will bring their Klash Of The Titans co-headline tour to Australia.

The very best of European metal will see the two bands host a quick run of dates across the country, starting at Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall (Tuesday, 13 February) before heading to Melbourne’s Forum (14 February), the UC Refectory in Canberra (15 February), Sydney’s Enmore Theatre (17 February), and wraps up at Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Sunday, 18 February.

The 2024 Klash Of The Titans tour marks Kreator’s first Australian run since 2017. In Flames, on the other hand, last visited Australia in March 2023 for Knotfest and also opened for Megadeth. Their last headline tour down under was a co-headline event with Trivium in 2014.

“Are you guys ready?” In Flames asked in a Facebook post last night (22 October), accompanied by three Australian flags. “IN FLAMES & KREATOR coming to your shores…..”

Witnessing Kreator’s headbanging brilliance in September 2017, The Music reviewer Brendan Crabb said that their show at the Manning Bar was “A suitably full-throttle display wildly embraced by the faithful; even in middle age, restraint really isn't a term in Kreator's vernacular.”

In Flames, promoting their February 2023 release Foregone, rocked the stage at Margaret Court Arena earlier this year, opening up for Megadeth. A Kill Your Stereo review concluded, “Swedish death metal has never sounded so good, and Margaret Court Arena has never sounded this loud.”
