Boy, I really hope somebody got fired for that blunder…
KISS committed the ultimate onstage blunder during a show in Vienna when saying farewell to a crowd of nearly 10,000 people.
By all accounts, the band’s Austrian show was going great, right up until its final moments when the screens behind them displayed “KISS loves you Vienna” with the Australian flag backing their logo.
As expected, social media is having a field day, with images of the confusing combo making the rounds like wildfire.
“KISS says ‘G’Day’ to all of you here in Vienna!!! Throw another shrimp on the schnitzel!!” one Aussie tweeted, adding that they were “idiots”.
“Whoopps! Big #SpinalTap blooper moment for rock band #KISS last night. They played in Vienna, AUSTRIA,” tweeted another.
Unsurprising, it wasn’t acknowledged in their post-show thanks online.

KISS’ long-awaited End Of The Road World Tour will finally make it to Australia this August, following numerous COVID delays.
Described as “undoubtedly the biggest and best KISS show ever”, the band have said fans can expect a huge celebration when they visit Australia.
“This will be the ultimate celebration for those who've seen us and a last chance for those who haven't,” they said.
“KISS Army, we're saying goodbye on our final tour with our biggest show yet and we'll go out the same way we came in... unapologetic and unstoppable.”
