Kirin J Callinan is coming back home from the US and playing a few shows in Sydney and Melbourne to show off plenty of tracks from his long-awaited forthcoming album.

Callinan will be performing two separate and unique performances on the one night in downtown Sydney, hitting an underground crypt of a chapel “once described as one of the world's 80 greatest man-made treasures”. It sounds very spooky and, well, kinda perfect if you've seen one of his performances before.

He then heads down to Melbourne the next day where he will set up at The Grace Darling to perform over two nights, returning to the first ever venue that he sold out for a couple of shows.

Apparently there'll be a nice mix of antiquated favourites and fresh new tunes aired at these shows, you can witness it for yourself at the following shows:
