Kingfishr Announce Debut Australian Tour

Irish alt-folk/indie rock trio Kingfishr are heading to Australia for the first time in March 2026.

Locking in theatre tour, the run begins at Melbourne’s Forum on Thursday, 12 March, followed by dates at Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Saturday, 14 March, Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Tuesday, 17 March, and concludes at Perth’s Astor Theatre on Thursday, 19 March.

The Australian tour arrives as the trio experiences their biggest London shows to date in December, as well as highly anticipated dates in Dublin. In 2026, Kingfishr will play the largest shows of their career across six outdoor arenas and stadium shows in Ireland, amassing over 100,000 tickets. Before then, though, Australian fans will get to experience the fun.

Frontier Members can access pre-sale tickets on Wednesday, 1 October, at 10 am local time, ahead of the general sale on Thursday, 2 October, at 12 pm local time. Tickets will be available via the Frontier Touring website.

Kingfishr are touring in support of their successful debut album, Halcyon, which was released in August. The listening parties for the album in Sydney and Melbourne sold out, leading to demand for more.

Already, Kingfishr have shared the stage with Bruce Springsteen, James Bay, Dermot Kennedy, George Ezra, Snow Patrol, and more, and performed at festivals including Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, Isle of Wight, and Rock Werchter.
