In what has been an interesting 24 hours for prominent metal musicians featured on commercial television, King Parrot's Wayne 'Slatts' Slattery has appeared on Channel 7's Sunrise program.
The bassist, appearing alongside local TV identity Denise Drysdale, was interviewed on the morning show talking about a new eco-friendly project.
For five days this February, Slattery will live in a carbon friendly pop-up home in Melbourne's city centre.
The temporary lifestyle changes aim to promote healthy environmental living.
In music related news, King Parrot will release a new album in 2015.
