King of Spain features hand-picked A-list artists from renowned acts such as Mane, Wanderers, Hilltop Hoods, Eraser Description, and many more. Their sound is fresh, not limited to any one genre.
They have been described as “neo-soul made new again,” and they boast electrifying, grandiose live sets with swelling tones and textures. Listeners are reportedly able to glean from their music "the sultry nights of Spanish Harlem,” “a flash of feisty Madrid nightclub cool, and “the smouldering majesty of Miles Davis’ Sketches of Spain.”
All this and more - it sounds like music that will suitably warm audiences up as the chill of an Australian May settles in.
Joined by virtuosic special guests each night, King of Spain will take over the UniBar across four Thursdays in May. All shows are free to attend.
