The word prolific doesn’t even begin to describe how insane the creative output and schedule of Aussie rockers King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard is, and with a world tour looming just over the horizon, they’ve locked down three hometown gigs to launch their new album, Flying Microtonal Banana.

The band’s ninth studio album in five years will drop next Friday, Feb 24, with Melbourne fans treated to three Australian exclusive launches at Night Cat in Fitzroy mid-March, one of which is all-ages.

King Gizz will unleash two full sets at each show, playing their new album in full before rolling through classics from 2016’s Nonagon Infinity and seven other beloved LPs.
