King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have smashed through the US charts this week with their new album, Murder Of The Universe, which has debuted on a number of lists.
All up, the Melbourne outfit's LP has debuted on eight Billboard charts this week, and clinched some of their highest peak positions, including #1 on the Heatseekers Albums chart.
Murder Of The Universe has also debuted at #2 on the Vinyl Albums chart, #3 on the Tastemaker Albums chart, #6 on the Independent Albums chart, #15 on the Alternative Albums chart, #20 on the Rock Albums chart, #32 on the Top Album Sales chart and #106 on the Top 200 Albums chart.
The news comes a week after the record debuted at #3 in Australia and #94 on the UK Albums chart.

King Gizz' latest effort is the second of five albums to be released by the band in 2017.
The third, Sketches Of Brunswick East, is expected to drop in the coming months.
