The acclaimed singer-songwriter will traverse the country in January and February
Canberra-born, Merimbula-raised troubadour Kim Churchill is wasting no time in getting his 2015 off on the right foot, announcing a string of national headline dates early in the new year in support of new release Single Spark.
Starting at The Corner, in Melbourne, on Thursday, January 15, Churchill will put on performances in metropolitan and regional centres around the country including Canberra, Ballarat, Wagga Wagga, Thirroul, Newcastle, Sydney, Byron Bay, Brisbane, Maroochydore, King Island, Adelaide and Perth on his way to wrapping up just shy of a month later on Saturday, February 7.
In addition to being Churchill's latest single, Single Spark is the opening track on his recent full-length Silence/Win, which dropped back in May. The 24-year-old multi-instrumentalist has garnered considerable acclaim for the release, as well as his hectic live performances, which have seen him grace stages at Glastonbury and Beautiful Days festivals, as well as the Montreal Jazz Festival, and intimate US shindig Telluride Blues and Brews. He also recently signed a worldwide publishing deal with Sony ATV, and shored up an album deal with the UK arm of Atlantic Records, through whom Silence/Win will see release.
