The Aussie rapper is parting with SB Projects after just three months.
Australian rap superstar The Kid LAROI has announced he is changing managements teams, departing from the label led by controversial manager Scooter Braun.
The performer, real name Charlton Howard, had joined the label just three months ago, and will now reportedly head to Rebel under the stewardship of owner Adam Leber.
Braun has been embroiled in controversy for a number of years now, notably for his involvement in the restriction of Taylor Swift's back catalogue. His label, SB Projects, currentlay represents big names such as Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato and Carly Rae Jepsen.
Notably, Braun also represents Justin Bieber, with whom Howard found his biggest success with the collaborative tune Stay.
The news comes as the hit tune celebrates a massive six weeks at the top of the US Billboard charts. The song is also holding strong in the ARIA charts, holding the number one position in Australia for a staggering 11 weeks and counting.

Howard now joins the new label among the likes of Miley Cyrus and Lil Nas X. None of the parties involved have released a public statement at the time of publishing.
