"I get along with everyone I work with, but he's just not a good guy for me."

Having worked with producer Dr Luke on mega-hits Since U Been Gone and My Life Would Suck Without You, pop star Kelly Clarkson has stayed fairly silent over the allegations and eventual court case between the producer and Kesha, who has accused Dr Luke of abusing her both mentally and sexually.

Having only posted a vague tweet late last month as Kesha was ruled against in the court case, Clarkson has finally spoken out in a radio interview on Kyle & Jackie O.

When probed by the KIIS FM radio hosts, Clarkson said she worked with Dr Luke "because literally I got blackmailed by my label … They were like, ‘We will not put your album out if you don’t do this’."

As Rolling Stone reports, she went on to say, "He’s not a good person to me. We've clashed.

"Unfortunately, when you have that poor of character so many artists don’t like you, don’t like working with you - that’s not normal. I get along with everyone I work with, but he's just not a good guy for me.

"Obviously, he’s a talented dude. He just lied a lot. I've run into a couple of really bad situations. Musically, it's been really hard for me because he will just lie to people. And it's like, 'What?' And it makes the artist look bad."

As Pedestrian.tv also reports, Clarkson said, "If it’s true [Kesha’s allegations] then I can’t imagine working with somebody that had done something like that. I’ve never had that particular situation happen to me. I’ve never been that sex kitten pop star, I’ve never sold that part. I don’t think anyone would do that to me," she finished.
