You Am IAn appeal has been launched on Support Act for Kate Stewart, known for her work as former manager of You Am I and working with the Big Day Out festival, after she suffered a stroke earlier in the year.
The appeal page says that Stewart suffered a severe left hemisphere stroke in September which has left her with "significant impairments".
"Kate has right sided paralysis (hemiplegia) limiting use of her arm and leg as well as memory and language deficits," it reads.
"In order for Kate to live an independent and full life in the future she will require ongoing care and support."
Stewart has worked within the music industry for almost 40 years, beginning her career with Roger Grierson in the mid '80s.
