Kate Ceberano has added four new dates to her forthcoming Australian Made tour.

Due to the extraordinary demand for her already announced shows, which see Ceberano touring across regional Australia, the singer-songwriter has added four shows in metro locations.

Ceberano is already touring from June through to August, and the newly announced shows will take place in September and October. On Sunday, 14 September, Ceberano will perform in a to-be-announced venue in Sydney, followed by Melbourne’s Hamer Hall on Friday, 19 September, Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Saturday, 20 September, and Adelaide’s Thebarton Theatre on Saturday, 11 October.

You can find her full tour schedule below – tickets to the new shows will be available today at 10 AM AEST via Kate Ceberano’s website.

“The response to this tour has blown us away,” Ceberano commented in a statement. “It looks like I wasn’t the only one to think the time is right for a retrospective of my 40 years in Australian music — not only as a writer and a performer but as a massive fan.

“I’ll be singing songs I’ve had the privilege to be a part of and paying homage to some of the greats I’ve known and admired. Expect a ton of Australian classics and handpicked surprises. I can’t wait to hit the road and share my music and memories about them all.”

Of the extra shows, she added: “I love Adelaide, my family has a long history with SA, and I have some great mates who live there, so it was a show I was determined to make happen. I’m also stoked to add Brisbane to the line-up as well as a hometown Melbourne show at the beautiful Hamer Hall.”

Upon announcing the tour in March, Ceberano revealed that she’ll be paying tribute to the original Australian Made tour in 1986/1987, where she shared the stage with INXS, Jimmy Barnes, Models, and Divinyls.

The tour will see Ceberano dive into her expansive catalogue, as well as the acts mentioned above, plus artists such as Sia, Icehouse, Silverchair, John Farnham, Renée Geyer, Paul Kelly, and many more.

Ceberano explained, “It’s so important for me to express my culture, my Australia, in song.

“This is a love letter to the artists, bands, audiences and storytellers who I’ve travelled with over this vast continent for four decades, a deep dive into what makes ME an Australian artist: my hungry heart holding their words to my chest, making them the soundtrack to my life.”
