Icelandic blues-rock band KALEO are heading back down under for their Payback Tour in 2025, and they’re bringing a special guest with them.

KALEO last set foot on Aussie shores for Bluesfest 2023, sharing the lineup with the likes of The Doobie Brothers, Bonnie Raitt and Dami Im. Their appearance at Bluesfest was one of the most notable, high-energy performances throughout the entire festival, with Jess Martyn of The Music writing: “The instantly recognisable riffs of Way Down We Go made for one of the day’s most memorable moments, the crowd singing along and clapping in time.”

The band also played a sold-out headline show in Sydney, and are itching to do it all over again next year. They will be taking on Brisbane’s The Fortitude Music Hall on Sunday the 16th of February, Melbourne's Palais Theatre on Tuesday the 18th of February, the Sydney Opera House’s Concert Hall on Thursday the 20th of February, and ending tour across the ditch in Christchurch, New Zealand to perform at Electric Avenue Festival

KALEO has had an impressive year thus far, playing some of their latest singles Lonely Cowboy on one of country music’s biggest stages, Nashville’s Opry, and Rock n Roller on Jimmy Kimmel Live! earlier this year. The band also played prestigious stages across the UK and Europe at Coachella, Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza, and even opened for The Rolling Stones in Philadelphia.

Bringing along a special guest to marvel in the vibrancy of live tour together, joining KALEO on the road is US singer-songwriter Chance Peña. The 24-year-old artist has been making music from a young age, cultivating an authentic blend of traditional storytelling with modern musical inspirations. His debut album Ever-Shifting, Continual Blossoming skyrocketed Peña to unprecedented realms, garnering 13 million monthly Spotify listeners in the process. Fans will be treated to some of Peña’s most beloved tracks like i am not who i was and The Mountain Is You while he’s on tour with KALEO.
