Noel Fielding, Rhys Darby Lead Just For Laughs Galas

The world renowned Just for Laughs comedy festival is back at Sydney Opera House this year, after debuting at the iconic venue last year.

According to the venue's website, Noel Fielding, the surrealist comedian we all love from The Mighty Boosh, IT Crowd, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy will return to Australia for the first time in nearly ten years to host the Noel Fielding Gala Friday 19 October at The Opera House.

New Zealand's Rhys Darby from HBO's Flight of the Conchords is bringing the Kiwi's with him for Just for Laughs, hosting the Kiwi Gala. Darby has been in films Yes Man and The Boat That Rocked in recent years.  

Adam Hills will host the International Comedy Gala and Drew Carey will host the All-Star Comedy Gala.

Just For Laughs will feature Dave Gorman, Sam Simmons, Ed Byrne, Gabriel Iglesias amongst others and run from Thursday 18 to Monday 22 October.

Tickets go on Sale Monday 20 August.
