The tour will kick off in February next year.
Julia Jacklin has announced an East Coast tour ahead of her upcoming album, dropping this Friday the 27th of August.
The tour is hitting all the major East Coast cities, starting in Sydney at Enmore Theatre on the 25th of February before heading up to The Tivoli in Brisbane on the 26th and finally finishing up in Melbourne at the Forum on the 28th.
Currently on tour in the US – part of a comprehensive US, UK and Europe trek which will see her performing in her biggest venues to date, including London’s Roundhouse and Brooklyn Steel in New York - reviews are rolling in, detailing that the post-pandemic shows are filled with electric energy and dynamic music.
Jacklin sprung into the limelight in 2016 with her album Don't Let The Kids Win, where her masterful lyricism and sweet vocals captured the hearts of everyone who listened. From there she toured around the world, dominating the festival circuit and eventually becoming a household name in the singer-songwriter community. Her second album, Crushing, was described by Pitchfork as "exquisite" and cemented her status as one of this generation's best singer-songwriters, mastering the art of narrative songwriting.
Her new album, Pre-Pleasure, is set to follow in her last album's footsteps, with already released songs such as Be Careful With Yourself and I Am Neon, showcasing to fans that her work keeps getting better and better.

The February tour dates will be Jacklin’s first Australian shows with her full band since 2020, making it an unmissable show filled with fresh music from Pre-Pleasure.
