JOY Signs Worldwide Deal & Releases New Single

Acclaimed Australian producer, songwriter and artist JOY has announced a huge new worldwide deal with Believe. 

JOY says of the signing: “I’m very excited to be working with Believe to release my new music. It’s amazing to work with a business who are true music fans and champions of artists. They’ve given me the space and freedom to explore and evolve my sound and I can’t wait to share more.”

JOY has had an illustrious songwriting career so far, having collaborated with the likes of What So Not, Ganz, 360 and Zhu, as well as producing for the likes of BLESSED, Manu Crooks, Anfa Rose. 

She's also contributed to The Kid LAROI's Billboard No.1 Album F*CK Love for which she is a credited writer, producer and performer on. 

Alongside the announcement, she has released her highly anticipated new single, Out Of Love which was written and produced in her rooftop studio in Sydney's Darlinghurst. 

JOY describes the new single, “Out Of Love at its simplest is a reflection on falling out of love with someone, realising the cup has emptied over time as you’ve both grown apart. It’s a bittersweet reminiscence of the past before moving on to a new future. In my process, I prefer to focus on the overall feeling - predominantly through non-lyrical sounds - so that each listener might find their own meaning. I wrote different parts of the song at different stages of my own life and hope it will mean different things to different people in theirs.”

Out Of Love also comes with an accompanying music video, directed by Jack Toohey and produced by Sure Studios.
