Josh Homme speaks out against Jay-Z

Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme called Jay-Z a "kook" after he had the band frisked before playing at his festival.

Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme called Jay-Z a "kook" after he had the band frisked before playing at his festival.

Homme spoke to CBC radio, stating: "That guy's a kook, you know. He has his security frisking the bands on the way in."

Apparently he gave the security guard ordered to frisk him a choice: "I just told him 'if you open up my bag, then we're not playing, so I guess it's up to you now to decide whether I'm playing or not'."

He then explained how he was asked to pose for a publicity photo with a bottle of Jay-Z's Ace of Spades champagne: "I was like, 'That's not a gift - that's a marketing tool.' I destroyed it, 'cause I thought it was rude overall ... You shouldn't frisk my guys, you should f--k off."
