Queens Of The Stone Age vocalist Josh Homme has posted an extended apology online after kicking a photographer during the band’s LA gig on Saturday night.

The incident at KROQ’s Almost Acoustic Christmas 2017 event left Chelsea Lauren in hospital, and after issuing a statement to Twitter earlier today, Homme has posted a follow-up video.

“I don’t have an excuse or reason to justify what I did – I was a total dick,” Homme said.

“I'm truly sorry and I hope you’re okay. I’ve made a lot of mistake in my life and last night was definitely one of them.

“I want to be a good man, but I think last night I definitely failed at that and that means I failed my family and my friends as well. I don’t want them to ever be ashamed or embarrassed about being around me.

“I apologise also to my bandmates and my mum and my dad, my wife and my brother, my kids.”

The video ends with Homme stating, “I’m gonna have to figure some stuff out, I think.”
