“This was not on my 2024 bingo card”, one Jonas Brothers fan captioned their TikTok video of the band paying tribute to Bluey in Brisbane last night (5 March).

According to sources close to the Jonas Brothers, the Burnin’ Up group are huge fans of Bluey, and as you can see above, they got to meet three of the people attached to the animated family show.

The brothers hung out with the show’s composers, singer-songwriter Jazz D’Arcy, Joff Bush, and Daniel O’Brien.

Jonas Brothers paid tribute to Bluey after an intermission, taking to the stage and performing a unique rendition of the series’ theme tune. Footage of the honour has already gone viral on TikTok, with one fan’s video gaining 2.7 million views in 15 hours and well over 2,000 comments.

“Name something more iconic than the Jonas Brothers Bluey open”, one commenter wrote, while another quipped, “they’re all dads now so this fits”, and another said, “THIS IS SOMETHING I NEVER KNEW I NEEDED”. To make the scene even better, Bush was in the audience when the performance took place.

Jonas Brothers are touring Australia for the first time, bringing their Five Albums, One Night run to their fans down under.

The first setlist of Jonas Brothers’ Five Albums, One Night Australian tour showcased the group’s stamina and commitment to fans, performing a massive 35 songs, with a couple of songs listed appearing as medleys.

Jonas Brothers teased the Australian tour last May while appearing on Smallzy’s Surgery on Nova radio. Smallzy said, “I was going to ask about Australia, but I’m like a scorned lover – I’ve asked you when you’re coming, and you’ve told me you were, and then you never showed up for years…”

Nick Jonas responded, “We’ve been dying to come to Australia for a long time. We’ve sounded like a broken record [with] the number of times we’ve said that—the fact that we’ve never gone there and played a show; it’s long overdue. We’re figuring that out now. That’s the next step.”

So far, on their Australian tour, the Jonas Brothers have performed in Sydney and Brisbane. They’ll end the run with two dates at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena (Friday, 8 and Saturday, 9 March) with special guests Selfish Sons. You can find their Australian tour setlist here.
