Joey Valence & Brae made their Australian debut at last year’s Laneway Festival, appearing on the same bill as Charli XCX, Olivia Dean, Djo, Ninajirachi, Remi Wolf, and many more, and in a few months, they’re heading back to our shores.

The American alternative hip-hop duo will return to Australia and Aotearoa/New Zealand this April for their biggest shows yet, celebrating their boldest statement to date - their new album HYPERYOUTH.

The tour begins at Auckland’s Powerstation on Thursday, 9 April. From there, the pair make their way to Australia, performing at Melbourne’s Forum on Saturday, 11 April, Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Wednesday, 15 April, Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Saturday, 18 April, and conclude the run at Perth’s Metro City on Wednesday, 22 April.

Pre-sale tickets will be available on Tuesday, 20 January, at 10 am local time – register here to access those tickets. The general sale begins on Wednesday, 21 January, at 10 am local time via the Handsome Tours website.

HYPERYOUTH was released late last year and was produced, mixed, and mastered entirely by Valence in his State College, PA bedroom. With sample-rich layers, energetic raps, addictive bars, and EDM-infused grooves, Joey Valence & Brae refined their sound for a hard-hitting release featuring collaborators such as JPEGMAFIA, Rebecca Black, and TiaCorine.

In addition to performing at last year’s Laneway Festival, Joey Valence & Brae also played two intimate sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne.
