Joanna Newsom Announces Supports For East Coast Dates

Not long to go now

More Joanna Newsom Joanna Newsom Profile

Acclaimed songwriter/harpist Joanna Newsom has unveiled the three lucky acts who will be joining her on her forthcoming east coast dates this January.

Having graced Aussie stages four times prior, this time Newsom has invited visual artist and Aussie music scene veteran Mick Turner of Dirty Three to open for her in Melbourne when she plays Hamer Hall on 19 January.

Meanwhile, Chicago singer/songwriter Ryley Walker will be joining Newsom at Sydney Opera House on 21 January as part of the Sydney Festival, while San Francisco labelmate Meg Baird will come along for the show at Brisbane's QPAC Concert Hall on 21 January.

Newsom will be captivating crowds with her latest, Divers, on display when she takes to the stage later this month.
