Spend an evening with a seven-time Grammy nominee
Acclaimed US singer-songwriter Joan Osborne has set aside time for two headline appearances while in the country for next year's Byron Bay Bluesfest event.
The multi-Platinum-selling artist will bring her world-class talents to The Basement, in Sydney, and The Croxton, in Melbourne, around her appearance at the festival, delivering two standalone shows highlighting why she is regarded around the world as one of the finest interpreters of soul and R&B tunes currently performing.
In case you need a refresher,Osborne is a celebrated songstress with seven Grammy Award nominations to her name, as well as a laundry list of past collaborations and guest appearances to make ordinary mortals weep — Stevie Wonder, fellow Bluesfest drawcard Patti Smith and newly minted Nobel Prize winner Bob Dylan, just to name a few.
Her most recent album was 2014's Love & Hate, the successor to the previous year's Bring It On Home, for which Osborne picked up one of those plentiful nods from the Grammy Award judges.
