We've been waiting a while for some new material from the icon

It's been a while since we had some new music from legendary rocker Joan Jett - around seven years to be exact. But the long wait is almost over - Joan Jett & The Blackhearts will release a new album in October.

The veteran band will give us a whole new collection of original tracks in the shape of Unvarnished and they've enlisted a few of their rock pals to feature on the record, including Dave Grohl, Laura Jane Grace from Against Me! and long-time writing collaborator Kenny Laguna. There will be both standard and deluxe editions of Unvarnished released. Here are the tracklists:

Standard

1. Any Weather (606 Version)
2. TMI
3. Soulmates To Strangers
4. Make It Back
5. Hard To Grow Up
6. Fragile
7. Reality Mentality
8. Bad As We Can Be
