"This tour has meant a lot to me."

More Jimmy Barnes More Jimmy Barnes

Following a massive tour of Australia earlier this year, Jimmy Barnes has announced a live album set for release next week.

Recorded at his show at Sydney's Hordern Pavilion, the Modus Operandi record features cuts from his latest solo LP, My Criminal Record, as well as the classics like Working Class Man, No Second Prize and Khe Sanh.

“This tour has meant a lot to me," Barnes said.

"It’s really the climax of nearly a decade spent confronting my demons and using words and music to come to terms with them.

"At all of these shows I can feel the audience picking me up and putting me on their shoulders, so I wanted to release one of the shows from this memorable tour to say thanks to everyone who was there, and to let everyone else know what they missed.”

The live album announce comes ahead of Cold Chisel's new record, Blood Moon, due out on 6 December, which the legendary band will launch with a massive outdoor tour of Australia.
