Jimi The Kween Joins Groovin The Moo 2026 Line-up

Groovin the Moo returns to the Australian live music circuit with an epic one-day event in Lismore, NSW, next month.

One month out from the return of Groovin the Moo, the line-up has grown with drag superstar Jimi The Kween.

After two years away, Groovin the Moo returns to the Australian live music circuit with an epic one-day event in Lismore, NSW. The event will be held at Oakes Oval, Widjabul/Wia-bal Country, from 11 am to 10 pm, and will be all-ages.

The festival is a key element of this year’s Great Southern Nights program, delivered with the support of the NSW Government via Destination NSW and in partnership with ARIA.

Jimi The Kween joins an already-stacked roster of performers heading to Lismore on Saturday, 9 May. The line-up features international heavy hitter Denzel Curry performing alongside Aussies Baker Boy, Ninajirachi, Matt Corby, Tones And I, Dope Lemon, Maple’s Pet Dinosaur, The Chats, and more.

Recognised as a huge name in drag, Jimi The Kween is also an accomplished singer, dancer, musician, and DJ. Their powerhouse presence has earned them acclaim from audiences and the press, developing a reputation as an unmissable act on Australia’s festival scene.

In addition to Jimi joining the line-up, Groovin the Moo has shared details for this year’s Planet Music Homegrown Hero Live Finals, which gives local artists the opportunity to join the bill.

This year’s finalists are Mr Rhodes, Human Dinosaur Machine, Pippin, Nazare and Sun Wilde. The finals are open to the public and free to attend, and will take place on Friday, 24 April, at the Lismore Workers Club Auditorium. The winner will be announced on the night.
