'Lizard Boy' drops this month via Create/Control

Ascendant Adelaide-based performer Jesse Davidson will begin a new chapter of his career ahead of his impending shows to launch forthcoming second EP Lizard Boy after the South Australian singer was named as the newest signee to acclaimed US bookers The Windish Agency.

With Lizard Boy just over a week away from being unleashed on the world via Create/Control, Davidson's immediate attention as a freshly minted Windish man will be focused on his impending shows in support of the EP, staggered though it is — he unofficially gets under way tomorrow night with an opening spot for Dustin Tebbutt at The Rosemount, Perth, picking up more than a month later in McLaren Vale for the Gorgeous Music Festival on Saturday 28 November. He'll play two back-to-back headline EP launch shows in Brisbane (The Brightside) and Sydney (The World Bar) on Thursday 10 and Friday 11 December, wrapping up his year in style at NYE On The Hill, in Kernot, on Thursday 31 December.

It's been a corker of a year, at that, with Davidson starting 2015 aboard Adelaide's Laneway Festival line-up, as well as appearing at Groovin The Moo and heading across the seas to showcase at The Great Escape festival. He smashed it at BIGSOUND, collaborated with Japanese Wallpaper, made it on Like A Version and has been honing his live chops at every turn, so one can expect that 2016 will be filled with even more potential for Davidson to flex his swiftly blossoming clout.

Lizard Boy will be released via Create/Control on 19 October. For more information about Davidson's upcoming shows, see theGuide or check The Music App.
