Jazz Fusion Pioneer John McLaughlin Tours In October

October will see the much-anticipated return to Australia of pioneering virtuoso guitarist John McLaughlin for headline performances in Perth, Sydney and Brisbane, together with a previously announced appearance during the Melbourne Festival. 
 
McLaughlin's first headline shows in Australia in nearly 25 years, he was last here in 2009 with Chick Corea as part of their Five Peace Band project. As well as Corea, the English guitarist has worked with Miles Davis - on the legendary Bitches Brew sessions - and Mahavishnu Orchestra, and brings his current band, The 4th Dimension, with him for this tour, showcasing the album they're releasing in Sep, Black Light.
