Sydney and Melbourne get some extra love from the multiple award winner
Five-time NME Award-winning artist and Falls Festival 2016-17 main-eventer Jamie T has announced a pair of sideshow dates for early next year to complement his impending appearance.
The Tinfoil Boy hit-maker will hit up Sydney's Enmore Theatre and Melbourne's Croxton Bandroom as part of his wider Australian commitments during his upcoming visit, with both shows going down in early January in the wake of his festival performance.
The acclaimed British music-maker recently released fourth studio full-length Trick, the follow-up to his wildly successful third turn at bat, 2014's Carry On The Grudge. With a back catalogue that also stretches to include acclaimed 2009 album Kings & Queens — which peaked at #2 in the UK — and Mercury Prize-nominated debut LP Panic Prevention (2007), fans that take the time to catch Jamie T at a standalone show will no doubt be treated to a wide-ranging and imaginative performance from one of the world's most decorated young singer-songwriters.
Secret Sounds Members will have the very first run at tickets via pre-sale from 11am this Thursday, 22 September, until 8am on Friday; an hour later, at 9am Friday 23 September, tickets will be released for general purchase.
