James Vincent McMorrowThe dreamy sounds of Irish folk singer/songwriter James Vincent McMorrow will be heard once more with a follow-up record to Early In The Morning announced today.
The new LP, Post Tropical, is scheduled for late-November release Down Under, almost two months ahead of his home country, the news coming after McMorrow announced two Falls Festival sideshows earlier this week.
And he's continued to build the McMorrow excitement with an album trailer, check it out.
Post Tropical was born half a mile from the Mexican border, McMorrow relocating himself to a pecan farm, making use of the environment and sounds to create the seducing, intimate sound snap-shotted in the one-minute clip above.
In Ireland, his debut Early In The Morning reached number one, earning him a Choice Music Prize nomination, with his cover of Steve Winwood's Higher Love gaining the most recognition of Aussie shores by being shown in a Pure Blonde commercial and thus, climbing to number 12 of the iTunes Singles charts.
He was most recently Down Under last Easter, quickly selling out shows in Sydney and Melbourne, and moving to larger venues as a result.

Post Tropical will be released Friday 29 November through Dew Process – ahead of the usual January release date elsewhere.
