James Reyne & Mark Seymour To Reunite In 2020 For Australian Tour

Kicking off in July 2020!

More James Reyne James Reyne

Legendary Aussie songwriters James Reyne and Mark Seymour will again join forces in 2020 for a joint national headline tour.

The run, which comes in support of Reyne's new record, Toon Town Lullaby and Seymour's Slow Dawn, will kick off next July with shows locked in for Melbourne, Ballarat, Bendigo, Cairns, Townsville, Sydney, Brisbane, Southport, Hobart, Launceston, Adelaide and Perth.

"Mark is a gentleman," Reyne said of Seymour.

"He’s intelligent, widely read and worldly. And he’s very funny. He’s got a wonderfully dark sense of humour, not only about other people and things but himself. I like to think we’re similar in the sense we’re pretty self-critical, and we’re critical in general – we don’t suffer fools. And we don’t suffer ourselves either, as we tend to be a bit foolish sometimes.”

Seymour added, "The thing I like about James is he’s an Australian artist, but he’s not a comfortable fit.

"There’s something a bit edgy about James… it’s not like you can connect James with any particular trope.”

General public tickets for the Never Again 2020 tour go on sale from 10am on Monday 9 December.
