In his first Aussie tour since 2011, James Blunt has unveiled a 9-date Australian tour stretching to every Aussie state and territory next May and June.

The dates celebrate the release of LP Moon Landing – hitting shelves tomorrow through Warner Music – Blunt will play shows, complete with a live band, in Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane, Darwin, Adelaide, Canberra, Melbourne, Hobart and Perth.

The English former army officer last toured Down Under in 2011 and is well known for chart-smashes You're Beautiful and Goodbye My Lover from Platinum selling LP Back To Bedlam, earning multiple Grammy nominations and selling approximately 17 million albums and 20 million singles sales across the world.

He recently released new single Bonfire Heart, already peaking at number one of the iTunes single chart and debuting at number five on the ARIA single chart this week, have a look:

Blunt will be joined by Australian duo Busby Marou, who will be playing offerings from their two year old acclaimed debut and new LP Farewell Fitzoy, the latter debuting at #5 on the ARIA album chart this week and bragging 12-tunes of country-tingled folk-pop that are distinctly Australian.
