This will be the first official solo release for White, facilitated by the demise of his original band The White Stripes almost twelve months ago. The single will be featured on White's upcoming album 'Blunderbuss', a self-produced effort scheduled for an April 23rd release.

Describing the record, White said it is "an album I couldn’t have released until now… I’ve put off making records under my own name for a long time but these songs feel like they could only be presented under my name. These songs were written from scratch, had nothing to do with anyone or anything else but my own expression, my own colours on my own canvas."
