"The event is such a positive way to connect when we are disconnected."
Isol-Aid 28 arrives this weekend, with local acts and a US artist taking over the Instagram live-streamed festival on Sunday.
This week, City of Warrnambool steps up to showcase local talent in the form of Tom Richardson, Lee Morgan, Kinnon, Flynn Gurry and Cooper Lower, while Melbourne-based independent label Milk! Records’ lines up US artist Vagabon and Aussies acts Hachiku, Kee’ahn, Jessie L Warren, Jack Siren, Dark Water and Evelyn Ida Morris.
“We are thrilled to partner with Isol-Aid Festival and shine a light on the brilliant musical talent we have here in the South West,” City of Warrnambool Events & Promotion Services Manager Lauren Edney said.
"The event is such a positive way to connect when we are disconnected. To be able to support our musicians is hugely important when they have lost their ability to perform live in the normal sense. The Amplify Warrnambool line-up is a showcase of original songwriters and performers that reflect the original sounds of our coastal city.”
Isol-Aid 28 kicks off at 1:55pm AEST this Sunday, September 27. Head to the festival’s website for more details.
