A collective of Aussie musicians - including Lime Cordiale, Hayley Mary, Thando, Didirri, Emily Wurramara, Liz Stringer, Georgia Maq and more - are coming together to raise funds in aid of the people of Afghanistan.
Australian Musicians For Afghanistan will see 24 of the country's most loved acts playing across eight hours throughout this Thursday, 2 September - with the money raised from the event going towards Mahboba’s Promise Afghan Relief Fund.
Presented the team behind the massive Isol-Aid online livestream series, the event will take place on the various artist's Instagram pages, as well as on the official Isol-Aid website.
"Mahboba’s Promise has been helping the most vulnerable in Afghanistan for over 25 years and its staff and volunteers, made up of local Afghani people, have an established on ground presence," organisers explained.
"Donations will ensure the organisation can provide emergency shelter, food, water, medical and hygiene essentials as well as help their efforts to relocate people from Kabul to safer regions. Our support will help them to scale up their operations as the situation worsens."
