Stradbroke Island always comes alive when it's Island Vibe time each October and we get the feeling this will be even more likely come 2013.
This year the festival have teamed up with the renowned Earth Frequency team to program an incredibly diverse range of acts that sees the festival look to change things up and offer its fans a unique experience in its eighth year.
As such they've got a whole stack of international acts like New York's Electric Punanny, European reggae queen MC Soom T, dubstep heroes J Star, New Zealand's Dub Terminator, Soulware and Organikismness, US master Ill Gates, Jamaican soul sister Silva MC, and Chili's Jah Red Lion.
The Aussie contingent is nothing to scoff at either, with a whole range of incredible bands and DJs already announced with a whole heap more still to be announced.
As it stands they have Sticky Fingers, Goosebumpz, Bass Bin Laden, Liam Niko, mIDium, Kingfisha, Dubmarine, Bobby Alu, Oka, Chocolate Strings, The Bennies, Clair Quinn, Die Rude, Bandwalla Moon, Bat Hazard, Darky Roots, Midium, Griff, Dakini, Liam Niko and Drew-Id on the bill.
The festival happens at Point Lookout, Stradbroke Island (Minjerribah) from Friday 25 – Sunday 27 October. Tickets are available now from the festival website.
