Iron Maiden ProfileWhen we announced that UK legends Iron Maiden were literally taking to the skies for their 2016 Book Of Souls world tour, we were banking on the Boeing 747-400 being flown down under, too. Luckily, our wishes have come true — Bruce Dickinson and co. will indeed heading out on Ed Force One next May for a cracker of a national tour.
With their sixteenth studio album Book Of Souls coming in at #2 on this week's ARIA charts, Dickinson himself will be flying the jumbo jet with band, crew and stage production and equipment in tow — a pretty badass way to enter Australian airspace since their last tour in 2011.
The band will be heading to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth from 4 May to 14 May, with Dickinson explaining they are "in the middle of creating the new show and rest assured we are working hard to bring you all something spectacular, something with a lot of heart!!! You certainly deserve it for your patience."
Iron Maiden will be bringing out The Raven Age on tour.
