Over six days music lovers, musicians and industry will be treated to workshops and live music events.
Introducing the inaugural Shepp Music Week - a celebration of music via live music offerings and free workshops on Kaieltheban land, Yorta Yorta country from March 7-12.
The week has been curated with the focus on celebrating Shepparton as the multicultural and First Nations music capital of regional Victoria.
It aims to provide Shepparton and the surrounding music communities an opportunity to grow their creative practice and network with like-minded individuals.
The workshops include artist development intensive, community and creating platforms, developing music environments on Indigenous land, as well as two live music events.
The week-long event coincides with The Push's all-ages tour, with performances from Kaiit, KIAN, Aprilis, Vince The Kid and Mistykid, on March 11.
On March 12, it closes with Baiyiya Yapaneyepuk, meaning ‘Song Together’, jam-packed with exciting Yorta Yorta talent, Bricky B, DJVM, Isaiah Firebrace, Lillie Walker and Shanikwa AJ.

Shepp Music Week is part of the Regional Music Development Program. It is supported by the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria and delivered in partnership with Music Victoria and Regional Arts Victoria with on-ground Shepparton support from MAV, Still Here Arts & Culture and JL Productions.
