Interpol have confirmed they are working on new material.
The band have been on a break since their fourth studio album released in 2010, in the meantime reissuing their debut album, 'Turn on the Bright Lights'.
Since their previous bassist left after completion of their last album, many feared for the band's future. But guitarist Daniel Kessler has reassured fans via Twitter that Interpol is working on new material, stating: "And wouldn't ya know it ... we started working on another new tune yesterday. August be a breeding ground".
