The famed racing locale will host the music event for its eighth go-around at the end of the year
Bathurst is beloved among motorsport fans for its hallowed-ground status as the locale of one of the year's best-known and most popular races, but those who aren't into such spectacles will once again have cause to look upon it fondly themselves when the Inland Sea Of Sound Festival rolls through in November.
The event — whose line-up will be announced next week — is an all-ages, camping-friendly event that will last two days, giving punters ample chance to acquaint themselves with the picturesque surrounds of Mount Panorama while they kick back with some sure-to-be-quality tunes and culinary treats.
The Inland Sea Of Sound Festival started life in 2010 and has grown year on year into a showcase for some A-class performers as well as regional produce, showing with increasing style that there's far more to Bathurst than racetracks and goldfields.
The 2017 edition will be held from Friday 3 to Saturday 4 November, with camping available both nights in addition to other nearby accommodation options.
