Last week we had Sydney trio Uncle Jed smashing the singles/EP independent labels through independent distribution chart with three of their songs filling up the top three spots, but they have been knocked down a peg with John Butler Trio's new single Only One (Independent/MGM) taking out the top position this week. Uncle Jed are still competing for the top spot, with tracks Brother and Give Me Love in two and three respectively.
Brisbane electronic/alternative producer The Kite String Tangle has also moved up a spot from last week with his single Given the Chance (October Records/Independent), claiming the number four spot.
Kerser has taken back his lead on the independent labels through independent distribution chart this week, overtaking The Bamboos and their EP Fever In The Road (Pacific Theatre/Inertia) with his LP S.C.O.T (Kerser N Nebs Records/Obese Records). Indigenous Australian Gurrumul's effort Rrakala (Skinnyfish/MGM) has seen a jump from number 20 to the number 13 spot this week, moving him up above The Jungle Giants Learn To Exist (Amplifire) in number 14.

Canberra sludge hardcore outfit I Exist has just released their new record From Darkness, and you can stream it in its entirety here. From Darkness is out through Resist Records Friday 29th November.
Perth psych rockers Pond have released a clip for new single Midnight Mass (At the Market Street Payphone), which is off their 2013 album Hobo Rocket. They are also gearing up for a run of shows beginning in Fremantle on 12th December. Watch the video here.

The Cronulla Endless Summer Festival has announced their full line-up, with more local talents joining Bluejuice and The Preatures. The festival is being held between Friday 27th December and Sunday 29th December at Gunnamatta Park. More.
The second round of artists has been released for new Tasmanian festival PANAMA, including Saskwatch, Super Wild Horses plus many more. These acts will play the inaugural festival alongside many other acts on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 March 2014. Find all the details here.
Western Australian artist Ruby Boots has continued to steal our hearts with a set of intimate performances with guitarist Lee Jones, and there is no sign of slowing down. We have released two videos of her performance at theMusic WA Sessions, which you can watch here.
Speaking of not slowing down, Flume has taken out the 2013 J Award. The Sydney based EDM producer is currently on tour and was unable to receive the award in person, but that just goes to show how loved he is the world over. More here.
