15 July 2014 | 6:23 pm | Staff Writer

They'll be on the road for almost two months from later this month

Melburnian electro luminaries and Splendour In The Grass signees Indian Summer have revealed that they have a brand new EP to unleash on their adoring public, complemented by an extensive near-two-month-long national tour.

Already doing great guns on the international scene, EP A-side Shiner, featuring Ginger And The Ghost, serves as the initial taste of club sounds to come from the swiftly rising duo, and is freely available for your patient earholes on YouTube and SoundCloud.

To save you the legwork, though, here it is direct to get you in the mood for what comes after.

All right, are you all buzzed up and feeling the groove? Good, because Indian Summer aren’t wasting time hanging around before kicking this circus off – the tour officially commences with their performance at Splendour In The Grass on Friday, July 25.

From there, the pair take on Bendigo, Hamilton, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Fremantle, Perth, Sydney (again), Miranda, Melbourne, Adelaide, the Sunshine Coast and Wagga Wagga – as well as managing to cram in an (as-yet undated) appearance at Brisbane’s annual BIGSOUND conference (September 10-12).

With a US tour and their first official video on the horizon, it’s fair to say that if 2014 was the build-up, then 2015 is almost certain to be the drop.

See the Gig Guide or The Music App for more details regarding Splendour, BIGSOUND, and ticketing/venue/date information for Indian Summer’s massive spread of Aussie shows.
