We're eager to see if it'll be another cracker year
Byron Bay metalcore outfit In Hearts Wake have been having a kickass year, what with releasing two conceptually-linked albums, Earthwalker and Skydancer, both of which made a significant dent in the top 10 on the ARIA Charts. Now, they've been announced on next year's Unify: A Heavy Music Gathering, its second iteration since being launched this year by heavy label Unified and The Hills Are Alive.
Having played the 2015 festival too, Unify sold out in three hours and boasted an impressive list of Aussie hardcore bands such as Northlane, The Amity Affliction, Deez Nuts and more, in a two-day camping extravaganza complete with a late night cinema and mini-golf.
The environmentally conscious In Hearts Wake announced the news when they stopped by triple j's Like A Version segment to try their hand at Parkway Drive's Vice Grip — you can watch the video below.
