The duo will hit our east coast early next year
Brazilian blues legend Igor Prado is set to grace our country for an east coast tour next year, bringing his old friend and master harpist Lynwood Slim along for the ride.
This pair made a hugely successful album together back in 2010, Brazilian Kicks, which scored the number 2 spot in Living Blues Magazine's chart of 2011 - so you know these guys are going to put on an incredible show.
Prado is known for playing his guitar left-handed and upside down, while Slim brings years of experience on the harmonica to the table - in fact, he's been playing it since he was 15!

For these special Australian performances, Prado and Slim will be joined by some of our very own local blues icons; Brisbane's Morningside Fats, Sydney-based pianist Ali Penney, veteran drummer Rosscoe Clark and Western Australian bassist Hans Deberitz.
Opening up the proceedings in Brisbane and Sydney will be the ever dapper and sensational Jimi Beavis, spinning tracks from his latest album Gentleman Giant, so make sure you get along to these shows early to catch him in action. After that, the pair will be heading off to the Australian Blues Music Festival in Goulburn, before wrapping up their mini tour in Newcastle.
