Five locals appear in the UK Singles Chart this week, with rap superstar Iggy Azalea leading the Australian posse as she continues to rise in the rankings.

Azalea – who has recently found tabloid fame – is up to 17 with Work, the track rising from 19 last week in its sixth week in the chart.

Next in line is DJ sister-duo Nervo, whose track with Nicky Romero Like Home is the week's second highest debut at 33. Raised in Melbourne and currently based in London, Nervo who use the saying “art before chart”, are also featuring in the US rankings this week with Hold On one of the biggest gainers in Billboard's Dance/Club Play chart – it bulleted to 24.

At 61 in the UK top 100 is 16-year-old Gold Coast pre-teen heartthrob Cody Simpson. The YouTube-discovered youngster's latest track is Pretty Brown Eyes.

Two older tracks also snuck their way into the top 100 with both, as it happens, enjoying their 76th week in the chart. Pendulum's Propane Nightmares is at 98 whilst Sia's track with David Guetta Titanium is up to 99 from 115.
