"Maybe it’d be good for her to try to be a little more empathetic to other people that are in the same situation."
Iggy Azalea has hit back at some harsh comments made by Halsey last week, saying she doesn't personally know the US singer, nor have they ever met.
Halsey slammed the Australian rapper last week as a "fucking moron" and claimed she had a "complete disregard for black culture".
In a new interview with Nova's Smallzy's Surgery yesterday, Azalea took the high road.
"To me, because I'm a famous person and I know a lot of the time people have opinions and they're not always accurate, I really try very hard not to give my personal opinions about people that I don't know," the Sydney-born hip hop artist said.

"I don't know her. I've never met her or interacted with her in any capacity, so I thought it was a bit of strange thing to kind of throw that out there.
"She's young and I hope that she learns maybe to be a bit less judgmental when she's kind of in the same shoes.
"I'm sure she’s getting judged all the time as well by people who don't really know her. Maybe it'd be good for her to try to be a little more empathetic to other people that are in the same situation."
While Halsey has just played Glastonbury in support of her newly-released sophomore LP, Hopeless Fountain Kingdom, Azalea's own second studio album, Digital Distortion, is due out this Friday.
