The Stonnington Jazz Festival is set to return to Melbourne this May and has revealed a program that will reportedly "challenge what you know about Australian jazz".

Running from 9 to 19 May, the festival will feature a number of concerts including War Cry on opening night, the Chapel Off Chapel Concert Series, Jazz In The Loft Sessions and Cold Nights, Hot Jazz to close the festival. The concerts will feature performances from Barney McAll, Rhonda Burchmore, Queens Of The Jazz Age, Sugarfoot Ramblers and a whole lot more.

City of Stonnington Mayor Cr Steve Stefanopoulos was thrilled with the line-up saying, “Our artist director Chelsea Wilson has curated an incomparable line-up for this year’s festival.  The 2019 festival has something for everyone from the committed jazz fan, the casual music lover and those looking for a great night out."

The festival will also feature workshops, keynotes speakers, round table discussions and mentoring sessions as part of The Jazz Industry Summit.
