Intergenerational local legends will unite for something of a "together at last" hoedown this week when veteran Brisbane icons SixFtHick take to the stage alongside eclectic local alt heroes Velociraptor at The Foundry.
One part "long time coming", another part "how has this not happened yet?", the beloved bands will go toe-to-toe in the Valley this Wednesday, 25 January, offering up a public holiday-eve bash sure to give you a hangover worth nursing on your day off.
SixFtHick and Velociraptor will be joined by a few mates for the occasion, too, with left-field Sydneysider SPOD making the trip up to be a part of the shenanigans, as well as local party-punk purveyors Whalehouse.
It promises to be a pretty hectic show, and with a line-up of this calibre available for only $14.80 plus fees (or $20 at the door), you'd want to have a pretty good excuse to miss out.
