Iconic Sydney Pub, The Lady Hampshire, Reopening As Live Music Venue

The Lady Hampshire in Camperdown will be reopening as a devoted live music space.

Alongside the news of the reopening, the venue has also announced its live music curation across April and May.

Artists performing at the venue include the likes of Pacific Avenue, FANGZ, Bugs, Close Counters, Bootleg Rascal and These New South Whales.

The venue is being reopened by PUBLIC Hospitality Group who also own other well known Sydney pubs including Oxford House, The Strand and The Norfolk.

Entertainment and event manager, Elliott Harper shared his excitement of the news stating, "Bringing The Lady Hampshire back to life with live music as the focus, is exactly what Sydney has been asking for.

"When it comes to entertainment venues, we only want to foster growth and success across our city and think The Lady will be the destination for all types of musicians and patrons. The first month alone has some of the most exciting gigs Sydney has seen this year and we can't wait to bring it to locals and gig-goers."

The venue's opening weekend will see two huge shows take place, including performances from punk-rock quartet FANGZ on the 14th of April with guests DEDPAN and Wicked Envy.

On the 15th the party will continue, indie rockers Pacific Avenue will be joined by special guests JUNO and Darcy Lane with Bryn Chapman of Mac The Knife jumping on for a DJ set. 

The venue was bought by PUBLIC Hospitality Group in March of 2021 before quietly closing for renovations last year.
